Optex HX-80NRAM Battery Powered Outdoor PIR with Anti-Masking

The HX-80N PIRs are mounted between 2.5 and 3 meter high and provide a narrow volumetric outdoor intrusion detection up to 24m. The HX-80N series is ideal to protect alleyways, areas along fences or the immediate approach to a building. It has been designed to differentiate between human and small to medium sized animals reducing a lot the risk of false alarm. The HX-80NRAM is a battery-powered model with active infrared anti masking.

Adjustability to the site

To adapt to the slope of the ground, the HX-80NRAM's bracket can rotate horizontal, 180 degree and can be tilted up or down vertically. With its built-in flaps and plates the HX-80NRAM can easily set up to mask either the longer range or mask shorter ranges and can focus only on the area of interest.

Anti masking for peace of mind

If the HX-80NRAM's sensor is sprayed, covered or obstructed while it is armed or disarmed, the active infrared anti-masking will be able to sense the threat when the alarm system is turned on and as a result will send through a notification.

The convenience of wireless

The HX-80NRAM can be powered by a variety of universal batteries including CR123, CR2 and 1/2 AA (not included). Its housing can accommodate most wireless radio transmitters available in the market. This makes it a sensor easy to install in remote or temporary locations.
