Also, as customers demand more advanced services and node sizes become smaller, well designed combining systems will play a key role. Planning cable management today, for tomorrow’s services, is essential to ensure ease of implementation without disrupting services. The RCE 4x16 has been designed to be installed in the reverse path of either a hub or headend location. Its primary function is to provide additional input/output ports for the RCD-1002 reverse combiner. The RCE 4x16 can also be installed in any current network as a stand-alone unit.
